Statement of Faith CREED was
formed in 2006 by a group of people with particular
experience in taking church-based projects and
programmes from concept to completion. Having
consulted with senior Church leaders, and after
working on a number of schemes, CREED was setup to
offer its services to all Christian Churches
throughout Ireland.
CREED exists to serve and help churches and
organisations to grow and to be more effective in
promoting faith in Christ, by enabling them to
implement a vision for ministry and outreach to the
local community. Services CREED
Ireland can provide the following services:
- Assist Church leaders to inspire and develop
creative approaches to meeting wider community
needs.
- Motivate churches to engage with the local
community in imaginative ways by providing them
with the means to implement their vision.
- Encourage the maximisation of the use of
church facilities, resources and other property
for the spiritual and social benefit of the
wider community.
- Initiate local partnerships as appropriate.
- Assess the needs and available resources and
formulate a practical action plan through
consultation with congregations and leaders.
- Assist with implementing the agreed project
if required
- Advise churches on funding opportunities and
legal matters.
- Build the capacity and skills of churches to
include business planning, community audits,
community relations, capital project
development, management structures.
